Our top vegan products you didn't know were vegan!

In recent years the rise of cruelty free and vegan products has risen but it’s been difficult to really see ‘vegan’ associated with kbeauty as they often use products derived from animals such as snail mucin, milk and honey. Additionally, if products are sold in mainland China, we know that they need to be tested on animals before hitting the shelves – wild stuff, we’re in 2022 folks!

I’m glad to say that Beautyworks is working on bringing in more vegan brands and products (no spoilers) but there’s still a long way to go for Kbeauty.

Luckily we do indeed stock some vegan products and probably some you didn’t even know were vegan. So here we are with my top picks.

9 Wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm 25ml

9 Wishes Perfect Ampule Serum Calm 25ml

9 wishes for a start definitely do not test on animals. Not all their products are vegan as some include honey extract but this calming serum only includes plant based ingredients and is perfect for calming the skin. With Centella Asiatica, aloe and allantoin, the key ingredients all support calming irritation and hydrating whilst also protecting. I’ve used a few of the 9wishes products and one thing that’s very consistent is, that it’s very easy on the skin. Super absorbent but perfect for those with sensitive skin. This one in particular is free of alcohol, parabens, sulfate and silicone.

BBIA Never Die Brush Eyeliner

BBIA Never Die Brush Eyeliner

Ugh the new brand drop in store has been an absolute HIT, especially with all the lip shades If you know me, you know the wing tip eyeliner is my signature look. I absolutely cannot do it any other way. So I was very excited to try this product. Bbia's Never Die Brush Eyeliner has a filling ink tank-type feature with a thin delicate tip to draw a flawless dramatic line without skipping and for a brush liner, the line is solid and clear.

Mamonde Rose Water Toner 250ml or 500ml

Mamonde Rose Water Toner 250ml or 500ml

I think a lot of people assume most of the bigger brands aren’t vegan. Which is true to an extent. The Mamonde floral lines are vegan and this has been a crow favourite for a long time. Basically all made up of beautiful rose water, the best thing about this product is that it’s so versatile. It’s great as a toner but personally, I also love using it as a mist thoughout the day. With my dry skin, it’s a great easy addition to my routine and smells great – perfect little refresher.

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser 150ml

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser 150ml

Don’t we all love COSRX? It’s also probably up there with best selling brands in our store. Unfortunately not all the products COSRX offers are vegan but this one is one of the ones I love. With my dry skin, sometimes it can feel like an overreaction using a deep cleaning foam cleanser every morning and night so I like to mix it up. This gel cleanser is refreshing and gentle and it cleanses without stripping all your natural oils.

COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream 100ml

COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream 100ml

  1. Another vegan one I love! You guys are probably over me crying about my dry skin but it’s seriously an issue! Especially during these weather changing, cold months! The hyaluronic acid intensive cream is all in the name but surprisingly very lightweight. That’s the dream – does the job but don’t have to wait an hour for it to absorb before rubbing it all into my pillow. Just like all the COSRX products, the scent is pleasant and also absorbs quickly.

We’re here to help !! drop us a note or a message if you ever have any questions about vegan products.
