The two best things for your skin are sunscreen and vitamin c. We've already posted about remembering to slip slop slap, but what do you know about vitamin c?
Oranges, grapefruit and strawberries are all great for our health and it's widely encouraged we consume vitamin c for immunity and repairing your body. But it's often not enough to just have a diet rich in vitamin c foods.
Vitamin c is a powerful antioxidant that helps fight free radicals and damage from external sources such as air pollution and the sun. In doing so, our skin thrives with a brighter, healthier complexion and a more even skin tone.
Some studies have also shown that vitamin c can help fight the signs of ageing - some sort of miracle ingredient!
There are so many products out there that contain vitamin c and one of my personal favourites and something I've been using in my routine for a long time is the Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum. With 70% Jeju Green Tangerine Extract, the serum is concentrated with vitamin c goodness and helps reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots like freckles.
The light texture is easy on the skin and absorbs well - although rich in vitamin c, the scent is super subtle. When you apply it, your skin is noticeably hydrated and the gel like texture doesn't leave a skicky feeling.
The serum also includes centella asiatica and is suitable for anyone with sensitive skin and pregnant/breast feeding!
I love that this product is super approachable and with the $41 price point, it's value in a bottle - I'm already on my third!
We've also recently introduced special stickers in store and online to highlight the products that have been popular in Korea and won awards. This serum won second place in the 2021 Olive Young beauty awards.
There are also many products that include vitamin c, in toners, creams and lotions. Check out the range online.
